Description of work
Information and Infrastructure Technologies (IIT) is hiring a System Administrator – Sr. Level (Linux) who will support all network functions and services for this project. In this role, the System Administrator – Sr. Level (Linux) will specialize in Linux systems and assist with daily configuration and operation. This is a contingent opening to fill System Administrator – Sr. Level (Linux) roles as needed.
Responsibilities:
Offer support for computing devices in a timely and effective manner
Enter and track trouble ticket orders in site tracking system
Run security audits and update operating systems and software to ensure compliance with appropriate STIGs
Work closely with the Program Manager and Customer to ensure proper documentation of systems
Analyze Customer problems and offer solutions
Provide virtualization support, including configuring and managing virtual infrastructure
Project Overview:
Team IIT will provide its customers with overarching and comprehensive IT support. This includes systems engineering, computer management services, hardware management, database management, IT system support, server administration, cybersecurity, and more. The project will require support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for computing systems and support services that are necessary for Customer success.
